HUMANITY

The world is heavy

it gets hard keeping steady.

So much news

is spewed

 in every direction.

It’s got my mind way to busy

 sometimes, I’m a little dizzy.

As I regain my focus

I do a little hocus pocus

to put things in perspective.

Leaning on what my parents taught,

love cures all.

Humanity should stand proud & tall.

 If we the people, you know the human race

practice empathy, compassion, and love,

hate will dissipate.
